Very polite and helpful! My go to Chinese food in the Poughkeepsie area!

First time order and done via delivery. Ordered shrimp and brocolli with brown rice which was very good. Egg rolls were nice. Also had szechuan dumplings which were more like crispy fried wontons and were ok. Very fast delivery. Will order again for sure to try other dishes.

Ginger Chinese takeout, on Rt 9, just north of the Spackenkill road exits has been a staple at that location for maybe 15 years. It is consistently a great answer to not cooking and enjoying a steaming plate of your favorite dish, which we normally would not cook ourselves. I tend to be a little boring with my chicken and broccoli, but lately I’ve added extra broccoli and mixed vegetables, and it is delicious every time. Some of my extras might be their spare ribs, also tasty, and sometimes fried dumplings, extra crispy, again very tasty. Their won ton soup is also much better than most. A few years ago the business changed hands, and I have to say the new owners are constantly improving the place, it’s clearly evident if you’ve been a long time customer, and these changes are all for the better. They’ve added an exotic fish tank to the ambiance which is a welcome change to stare at instead of your phone while you wait for your food. Dinner last night was great ! I’ll be back.
